The tech topics I have written about on this blog are all connect back to the fundamentals of information technology because they all go back to the basics of information technology. In each post, I was able to correlate the past with the present and the future. Each topic has opened a door for me to look at where information technology started and compare it to where it is today. When I think of fundamentals, I think of tow words: original and basics. Although the world of information technology is always rapidly growing, I believe that there will always be basic rules that need to be learned and followed... the fundamentals.
Throughout this entire experience, I learned so much bout the hardware of a computer. I now find it easier to shop for computers for my personal use and I feel confident to recommend computers given certain parameters.
The programming languages post was an awesome experience using Scratch. I tried and overcame many difficulties using this website to create a short animation, but it was extremely eye-opening to the world of programming. I learned that a lot goes into programming and learning the language of programming. One day, I aspire to be an expert in programming languages, but as of right now, I am no even close to a beginner.
As learned in Documenting a Day post, I was able to learn and understand the role of application software. I go to play around with different presentation applications (word, excel, powerpoint). I learned how these applications are useful in this particular field and even to be put on a resume.
